Project Niños – Prevention Education Specialist in partnership with Cleveland Metropolitan School District utilize the Lions Quest Skills for Growing Project Model, an evidence-based practice, to provide a year-long bilingual and culturally competent in-school youth development and substance prevention education curriculum to assist Pre-K and/or elementary scholars acquire social and emotional learning, knowledge, attitudes, and skills for setting goals, maintaining positive relationships, and making responsible decisions.
Jovenes en Acción – Prevention Education Specialist utilize the Lion Quest Skills for Action Project Model, an evidence-based year-long bilingual and culturally competent in-school or out-of-school prevention education and community building curriculum, to integrate social, emotional and service-learning to assist middle and/or high school youth in setting and achieving positive goals, showing empathy for others, establishing and maintaining positive relationships, and making responsible decisions.
Creating Lasting Family Connections –Prevention Education Specialist utilize the Creating Lasting Family Connections, evidence-based family strengthening, substance use and violence prevention curriculum, to increase parental skills, positive family engagement, family bonding, access to community resources, and setting effective substance use rules for incarcerated women in the Northeast Reintegration Center.
La Mariposa – Prevention Education Specialist utilize the Girls Circle-La Mariposa evidenced-based bilingual and culturally competent group practice to counter harmful female stereotypes, encourage genuine self-expression, and generate personal accountability by building healthy relational and cultural connections, navigating personal challenges, increasing self-empowerment, and enhancing social-emotional skills in adolescent girls, ages 9-18 years.
